New Jersey Chapter Team

Renae Thakur, a junior at Leonia High School in New Jersey, is passionate about making oral health education and dental resources more accessible to everyone, especially underserved communities and youth. With extensive exposure to STEM, research, and internship experiences, she has developed a strong interest in using science and service together to create a meaningful impact. As the leader of the New Jersey branch of Smile Care Society, she hopes to raise awareness about the importance of oral hygiene and help make dental knowledge and care feel within reach for all.
